To create an audio story, choose "Audio Story" from the Media Prompts dropdown menu.
Into the Audio Story Files area, upload an audio file, multiple image files and optionally a subtitle file in VTT format. The audio and subtitle files require no naming convention. But only 1 of each will be used. The image files should have the filename of their sequence in the story. e.g 1.png, 2.jpg, 3.png
In the Image Entry Times field, beside each image number, set the timestamp at which the image should enter the story. The timestamp format is: HH:MM:SS
eg
To set an image to enter when the audio is at 20 seconds: 00:00:20
To set an image to enter when the audio is at 1 minute 05 seconds: 00:01:05
Using TTS Audio
Though the Audio Story settings area does not have a TTS audio selection option, it does support TTS audio. If no audio file is uploaded, it will look for TTS Audio which is another option in the Media Prompts dropdown. If it finds that a TTS Audio has been set up, it will use that as audio for the audio story
Using Subtitles
A subtitles file (vtt format) is optional. Poodll Media (and Poodll ReadAloud) can generate the subtitles (vtt file) for an audio file, but there is currently no obvious way to download that file. It requires finding the VTT URL from a page it is being used on and downloading it. If you are not the kind of teacher that view the source code in the browser, it might be easier for you to search online for "vtt maker" or "vtt creator" for an online tool to create a VTT file.
