The Poodll Filter(Classic Poodll) and Cloud Poodll plugins have a setting for AWS region. Setting the correct AWS region is a good thing to do for several reasons:
- Recordings will be uploaded faster, and recordings downloaded faster
- Not all regions support all services
- For AWS users data transfer costs can be cheaper
Setting the Region
In the Poodll filter the AWS region setting is called "Cloud Region (AWS) in the Poodll filter general settings:
Site administration -> plugins -> filters -> Poodll filter -> general settings
In the Cloud Poodll plugins, the AWS region is available on the admin settings page for the plugin. Each plugin's setting page is in a different location. The Cloud Poodll Assignment Submission plugin as available at:
